ESADE’s Masters of Science in management ranked in global top 10 by QS Top Universities

ESADE’s Master of Science (MSc) in International Management (#3), MSc in Marketing Management (#4), MSc in Business Analytics (#5), MSc in Finance (#7) and CEMS Master in International Mangement (#8) have been ranked in the global top 10 for their respective categories in the 2019 QS Business Masters Ranking. This ranking, published annually by the website QS Top Universities, analyses the overall excellence of Masters of Science in management. These programmes, designed for recent university graduates or those who have limited professional experience, provide a high level of training, specialisation and professionalisation. Specifically, the ranking takes into account international employability, leadership training, diversity and the overall success of graduates.

ESADE currently offers six Masters of Science programmes in management: International Management (MIM), Marketing Management (MM), Business Analytics (MIBA), Finance (MFN), Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MIE) and Global Strategy Management (GSM), in addition to the CEMS Master in International Management (CEMS-MIM). This year, ESADE’s MSc programmes have a total of 532 students, 91% of whom are international (representing 52 countries) and have a background in a wide variety of disciplines, including business management (56%), engineering (21%), economics (10%), the social sciences (3%) and the humanities (3%).

According to Josep Franch, Dean of ESADE Business School, being included in the top 10 of the QS Business Masters Ranking is “a recognition of our school’s commitment to the Masters of Science programmes in management and, in particular, our school’s commitment to innovation”. He added: “ESADE’s objective is to offer its students a unique and transformative educational experience. We must therefore remain on the cutting edge of training in new areas such as big data, blockchain and artificial intelligence, as well as more traditional fields such as finance and marketing, without neglecting the entrepreneurial spirit – one of ESADE’s distinguishing features.”
