Netmentora Catalunya and Fundación ESADE have signed a collaboration agreement to boost entrepreneurship. To this end, joint initiatives will be undertaken to help new entrepreneurs be successful and to foster job-creation.

The collaboration will involve finding synergies between the two institutions so that would-be entrepreneurs in ESADE can benefit from Netmentora's support programme. Entrepreneurship is part of ESADE's mission and the business school runs many programmes to support budding entrepreneurs. One of these is EWorks, a programme for setting up new, high-growth firms. It helps students take the first steps in launching a new business, featuring a 'pre-accelerator' (that is to say, a programme focusing on early-stage start-ups). Furthermore, operating within the framework of ESADE's recently-inaugurated 'Innovation Boulevard', EWorks has the facilities needed to host all the School’s future entrepreneurs.

The collaboration agreement with ESADE was signed this morning by Guillermo Viladomiu, President of Netmentora Catalunya, and Eugenia Bieto, Director-General of Fundación ESADE. “Our aim is to help entrepreneurs consolidate their firms, and in so doing, create jobs and weave a richer business fabric. This agreement with ESADE highlights the synergies between the worlds of business and education. It acts as a sounding board, making sure that our message reaches more would-be entrepreneurs who can benefit from our methodology and our support” said the President of Netmentora Catalunya, Guillermo Viladomiu. Eugenia Bieto noted that: “ESADE is keenly aware that starting a business is a complex task and requires all the help we can give. That is why the agreement signed with Netmentora facilitates EWorks' mission, boosting the number of entrepreneurs who successfully put their ideas into action through access to an international network of mentors”.

The agreement will help Netmentora Catalunya to continue beefing up its network of entrepreneurs and businessmen to help create companies that boost employment. The entrepreneurs who are supported by Netmentora, a non-profit organisation, enjoy between 2 and 3 years of support from top businessmen and managers. These experts help each entrepreneur consolidate his or her company. The entrepreneurs are also given access to Zero Interest loans. Furthermore, they can draw on an international network of businessmen and entrepreneurs in ten countries.
