Business Network Dynamics (BuNeD) conducts research on how business networks are built and organized.
The ultimate goal of the research group Business Network Dynamics (BuNeD) is to develop and share knowledge about how networks of organizations interact to exchange goods and knowledge to deliver value to final customers. Being the socio-economic environment rapidly evolving, organizations are increasingly outsourcing not-value-added activities but also part of their value-added activities. When they lack knowledge or skills to address customer needs in an effective and efficient way they engage in physical and virtual networks of partners supplying those resources. We investigate opportunities and barriers of operating in such complex and dynamic business networks. Understanding how to design, manage and coordinate such networks is now a key competence for business continuity.
The BuNeD brings together different areas of expertise at Esade, as we are an inter-disciplinary group of researchers from the fields of operations and supply chain management, information technology and quantitative methods.
