We are pleased to present PwC’s report entitled, The governance divide. Boards and investors in a shifting world, a summary of its latest annual survey of corporate directors in the United States

In today’s rapidly-changing world, corporate governance continues to quickly evolve. More than ever, society and investors demand that companies intercede to overcome major challenges such as climate change, diversity and inequality.

However, in its latest annual survey of corporate directors in the United States, PwC has detected a gap between board members and shareholders. Its data indicate that boards don’t always see their responsibilities in the same way as investors do and that they are not very adept at capturing and addressing their stakeholders’ priorities.

To examine this question and other key issues and trends in corporate governance, we are pleased to present PwC’s report entitled, The governance divide. Boards and investors in a shifting world, a summary of its latest annual survey of corporate directors in the United States.

Given this ever-changing scenario, we will also analyse the important role that education and up-to-date content play in successfully overcoming the challenges that corporate directors face. In this same vein, we will also present the second edition of the ESADE/PwC Directors Programme. The aim of the latter is to help to train high-potential executives who are set to join boards and corporate directors that need to further their knowledge to duly assume their responsibilities.
