Corporate compliance has been called ‘the legal topic of the year’, yet numerous doubts remain regarding the best practices for implementing it. What tools should companies put in place to prevent violations and avoid sanctions? What is the true value of a ‘culture of compliance’ and third-party certification? How should internal investigations be carried out?

Clearly compliance requires constant adaptation and review, not only because of the negative consequences of failing to implement it (criminal sanctions, reputational damage) but also because of the considerable positive contribution it can make to the business organisation.
