VI ESADE INTERNATIONAL DOCTORAL TOURISM AND LEISURE COLLOQUIUM ESADE, 21st May 2008

For the sixth consecutive year, we invite doctors, doctoral students and experts in the field of public and private tourism management to submit papers for the International Doctoral Tourism and Leisure Colloquium. The three lines of research proposed are the following: A. Tourism business management B. Tourism destination management C. Tourism consumers The acceptance of submitted abstracts will be decided by the colloquium’s Academic Committee. Some of its members also serve as moderators: they will assess and discuss each of the papers to be presented.* Joining the Committee in this year’s edition are members of the recently constituted CEMS Faculty Group on Tourism. All papers to be presented at the colloquium will be published on the website and on a CD which will be distributed to attendees during the event. Furthermore, the authors may choose to publish their papers in the Revista de Análisis Turístico [Journal of Tourism Analysis], edited by the Spanish Association of Scientific Experts on Tourism (AECIT), ISBN 1885-2564, DL B-39009. In addition, and at the discretion of the Academic Committee,* the two best papers will be awarded a first prize of 1,500 euros and a second prize of 500 euros. As a new feature of this year’s edition, a lecture on research in tourism and the publication of research findings will be delivered by PhD. Christian Laesser.
