Personality

One of the most important factors in determining your happiness and success in a job is understanding your personality, also referred to as characteristics or attitudes:

  • How do you typically behave towards others or approach life?
  • Are you outgoing or introverted?
  • Do you enjoy planning or are you spontaneous?
  • Are you detail oriented or more interested in the big picture?

LEAD course includes exercices but you can also find other tools online. For instance:

  1. The Keirsey Temperament Sorter II® (KTS®-II) is a powerful 70-question personality instrument that helps individuals discover their personality type among the four temperaments classification: Artisans,Guardians, Rationals, and Idealists. It is a free and self directed test, which provides a brief description of your personality (The Temperament Mini Report). A classic and longer report is available after paying a fee.  Registration is required to take the test.
  2. Holland Personality types:
     lists for each of the personality cathegories the main personality features, the recommended working enviroment and examples of occupations.
