Selection Processes and Interviews

Selection Processes are the techniques that companies use to assess and select candidates to join their organizations. They range from a simple series of interviews to more sophisticated processes using psychometric tests, assessment centers, competency-based interviews and dinners or receptions. The selection process used by any company will depend on the sector they are in and the specific skills they are looking for. As you research your target sector, you should try to find out the selection process they typical use for selecting candidates.
