Esade, as one of the federation schools of Ramon Llull University that has the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), participates in mobility activities for learning, cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices through the Erasmus+ program.

Application Process for Double degrees at other universities

The admissions process for the double masters degrees is carried out while enrolled in an Esade MSc in Management Program.

This program is exclusively for students with an excellent academic transcript. Selection criteria give preference to students' average marks in core courses.

Please note that if you have previously applied to an Esade partner school you are not eligible to take the double degree program. Partner universities have the right to reject candidates.
 
Esade can request a preliminary check with the desired partner school about admission requirements.

Requirements:

  • English C1 (BEC Higher, ICFE, ILEC, TOEFL (100 IBT), IELTS, CPE, CAE. If you are a native English speaker, you will have to choose French, German or Spanish (exit level B2 or C1) AND Italian.
  • Italian A2 - to be achieved before finalising the Master. Bocconi offers an Italian summer course for all students with a knowledge of Italian below the A2 level (registration fee €160). If you are a native Italian speaker you can choose French, German or Spanish (exit level B1 or B2).
  • Students with an Italian Bachelors degree cannot apply for Bocconi's Double Degree programs.
  • One Masters degree project for both institutions.

Requirements:
 

  • Students must have completed a Bachelor degree with a minimum of 60 ECTS in qualitative and quantitative research methods, statistics, and advanced courses in business administration, and information management or management, business, human resources modules, depending on which Master’s program they are applying to. 
  • RSM only accepts students who have completed their bachelor studies in an accredited research university.
  • For applicants with a Bachelor degree from the People's Republic of China, please note that RSM accepts degrees issued by a so-called "Project 211 university" (211), initiated by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. They also accept degrees issued from a selected group of Chinese universities outside the Project 211 list.
  • GPA equivalent to 7 out 10 in the Dutch education system.
  • GMAT minimum score of 600.

  • HEC does not accept students with French nationality or students who completed their BAC in France.

  • HEC only accepts students who have completed their undergraduate degrees at ESADE, due to legislative changes regarding Grand École degrees.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, administration, management or similar.
  • Students who hold a Bachelor degree from another university must have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or above and a GMAT score of 650 or higher.

  • International Design and Business Management IDBM

ESADE Master in Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MIE) students have the opportunity to join the 1st year of the IDBM program at Aalto University in Helsinki (Finland), extending their studies by a further year and enjoying a new international experience. Choose this option and you can achieve a prestigious double Masters from both ESADE and Aalto by presenting their IDBM Masters Thesis at our Finnish partner school (60 ECTS).
 
The Masters degree project carried out during the ESADE MIE program (10 ECTS) will serve as the preparatory work for the Aalto IDBM - Masters Thesis (30 ECTS)
 
Requirements:
 
Aalto requires official English proficiency certificate and the following certificates are accepted:
 

  • IELTS (Academic IELTS only): Overall Band Score: 6.5 and Writing Band Score: 5.5 
  • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE A): Total score: 59 and Writing score: 50
  • TOEFL (IBT = Internet Based Test, PBT = Paper Based Test) - Total score: 92 (IBT), 580 (PBT) and Writing score: 22 (IBT), 4.0 (PBT)
  • CAE/CPE (CAE = Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English, CPE = Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English) - Grades A, B, C 

IELTS, TOEFL and PTE results are valid for two years starting from the test date. Thus the oldest acceptable test date during the 2018 application period is 15 December 2018. The CAE and CPE results do not have an expiration date.
 
A language-proficiency test is not required from the following applicants whose higher education degree and the requisite studies have been taken at:
 

  • A university or a polytechnic (University of Applied Sciences, ammattikorkeakoulu) in Finland in Finnish, Swedish or English.
  • A university or a polytechnic univeristy in an EU/EEA country in English. In this case, the whole degree must be completed in English. The language of the degree must be stated in the degree certificate or its appendix, or in the transcript of records or other official documents, such as the diploma supplement, issued by the higher education institution in question.
  • An English-medium programme requiring physical on-site presence at a university in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States.
  • If the degree includes studies at other institution, the studies must also have been taken in English in a country and institution where the completed studies exempt the student from taking an English language test. However, this does not apply to degree studies completed during a student exchange.

Admission Requirements:

  • Non-Chinese citizen
  • Not currently registered in SJTU at the same degree level
  • Outstanding academic performance and potentiality
  • Having obtained a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • ELTS: ≥ 6.0; or TOEFL: ≥ 575(PBT), ≥ 90 (iBT)
  • Applicants with GRE or GMAT( 6QS-5C-35) will be preferred. 
  • Native English speaker or the applicants with bachelor degrees in native English nations can be waived from English requirement. GMAT or GRE is optional

 Master thesis: One Master Project for both institutions. Students must follow the rules of ANTAI and defend their Master Thesis dissertation at ANTAI. Skype defence is possible.
