- Article 1: Admission
- You must have the necessary identification to enter the Library (the ESADE card, Universitat Ramon Llull card or ESADE Alumni card.)
You will not be allowed to enter the Library if you fail to do so after receiving an initial warning from the staff.
- Your ID card is personal and non-transferable.
If you use another user's ID card, both users will be prohibited from entering the Library for two weeks after receiving an initial warning from the staff.

- Article 2: General rules

The Library aims to offer its users a clean, healthy, and peaceful work environment.
- Food and drinks may not be brought in.
Anyone doing so will be asked to leave immediately after receiving an initial warning from the staff.
- Activities resulting in bothersome noise are not allowed (using mobile phones, listening to music, working in groups, chatting, etc.).

- Any member of the Library staff may ask to see the user's ID.

- Disrespectful behaviour towards other users or Library staff members is not allowed.

- Behaviour which damages Library documents, equipment or facilities is not permitted.

- Article 3: Computers

The purpose of the computers is to consult the information sources needed to carry out work or research. The Library reserves the right to limit their use for other ends (individual papers, e-mail, consulting notes, etc.).
- You cannot work on two computers simultaneously.
Anyone doing so will be asked to leave immediately after receiving an initial warning from the staff.
- No more than two people are allowed to work simultaneously on the same computer.

- Article 4: Photocopiers

Library photocopiers are to be used to reproduce material which cannot be loaned out.
- Notes and other personal documents cannot be photocopied.
Anyone failing to comply with this will be asked to leave immediately after receiving an initial warning from the staff.

- Photocopiers may not be used in violation of the Law on Intellectual Property.

- Article 5: Document Loans (extracted from the Loan Policy)
- - Users who damage or lose a borrowed document will have to replace it with an identical copy or pay the corresponding price for its replacement if necessary.
- Overdue loans will be penalised with 2 day's loss of the loan service for every day overdue.
- If a borrowed document is not returned, the Library will take the appropriate measures.

- Article 6: Non-compliance with these Rules

Repeated non-compliance with these rules or conduct not included here but which is harmful for the Library or its users will result in the corresponding programme directors or competent authorities being notified so that they may take the opportune measures in addition to the financial sanctions outlined above.
