Admission process

The admission process for the Research Master in Management Sciences is open to people from all over the world who are interested in research in the field of management.

When should the admission process be started?

The admission process is continuous, so we are already receiving admission applications for the next Research Master in Management Sciences which will begin in September 2010 (single intake). The admission process for academic year 2010-2011 has been extended until July 7, 2010.

However, we recommend that you begin the admission process as soon as possible, given that the number of places for this type of programme is very limited and it may be full if you wait until July.

Candidates from outside the European Union should moreover take into account the additional time that it will take them to process the corresponding visa to come to study in Barcelona.

If you are in the final year of your university studies, we recommend that you do NOT wait until the end of the year to present your application, despite the fact that part of your academic record will be incomplete at the time of presenting it.

What steps should you follow to present your admission application?

To begin the process, you should send Admissions the duly completed admission application. We recommend that you do this on the Internet.

You should send us all the documentation detailed in the admission application. It is very important for you to do so soon, as we will not begin to assess your request until we receive it.

It is compulsory to take an admission test. You can choose between taking the GMAT or the GRE.

You should have a personal or telephone interview as part of the admission process.

Approximately one month after taking all the steps necessary, you will be notified whether or not you have been admitted.

If the result is positive, the final admission will be conditional upon you complying with all the academic requirements before the programme begins. Consult the academic requirements for further information.
